Koerner, Martha (24 OCT 1935)
Miss Martha Koerner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Koerner, Dorchester (Clark Co., Wis.), was united in marriage to La Verne Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Johnson of Curtiss, Wis., Thursday afternoon at the St. Peter’s Parsonage with the Rev. J. Brandt officiating. Attendants were Misses Gertrude Koerner and Ruth Kindt of Greenwood, Donald Winchell and Harold Koerner.
The bride was attired in white satin with veil and carried a bouquet of all flowers.
Her bridesmaids were also gowned in white and the groom and his attendants wore dark suits.
A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents. The newlyweds will make their home at Curtiss where the groom is employed. Their many friends join us in wishing them happiness in future years.
